Therapeutic Indications:
Studies indicate that this plant has a cardiotonic, coronary vasodilator, hypotensive, antispasmodic, sedative action on the nervous and cardiac system (tachycardia) and in atherosclerosis. Useful for athletes and people who perform intense physical exertion.
Its Latin name is Crataegus oxycantha (C. laevigata or C. monogyna). A shrub from Central and Southern Europe and Canada, it grows wild in thickets and hedges in all soils, and is also cultivated as an ornamental plant. It belongs to the Rosaceae family, with the flowering aerial parts mainly used, but also the berries. It consists of flavonoids (mainly hyperoside and rutin), oligomeric proanthocyanidins, phenylethylamines, phenolic acids, phytosterols, among others.
It has the following properties:
Increases cardiac contractility;
Improves coronary blood flow;
Exerts a sedative action, compensating for neurovegetative imbalances;
Regulates blood pressure and arrhythmias;
Also has an antioxidant action;
Muscle relaxant and antispasmodic to a lesser degree.
Composition:
Per daily dose / 6 capsules:
Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) oil - 1800 mg.
Ingredients:
Crataegus monogyna (Hawthorn, oil), gelatin, humectant: glycerine.
Dosage and Administration:
Take 2 capsules 3 times a day, before meals.

Warnings:
Consumption in excessive doses may lead to respiratory and cardiac depression.
Taking this product may cause, in susceptible individuals, skin rash, nausea, and fatigue.
It should not be consumed together with cardiotonic heterosides, blockers, hypotensives or benzodiazepines.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light.
If any reaction occurs, discontinue use.
