HORSE CHESTNUT
Its Latin name is Aesculus hippocastanum L. A tree native to Southwest Europe (Caucasus), Northern Greece, it prefers dry soils and is widely distributed in temperate regions. It is widely used as an ornamental tree. It belongs to the Hippocastanaceae family, and its leaves, bark, and seeds (horse chestnut) are used. The bark consists of hydroxycoumarin glycosides (esculin and fraxin), flavonoids, triterpenic saponins, catechic tannins, leucoanthocyanosides, oligosaccharides, and phytosterols. The leaves consist of hydroxycoumarin glycosides (esculin, scopoletin, and fraxin), flavonoids, tannins, leucoanthocyanosides, traces of escin, and phytosterols. The seeds (horse chestnut) consist of flavonoids, hydroxycoumarins, triterpenic saponins (escin), catechic tannins, pectin, mucilage, fatty oil, and carbohydrates. It has the following properties:
- Increases capillary resistance, having venotonic properties;
- Anti-inflammatory action, reducing capillary permeability and fragility;
- Useful in chronic venous insufficiency;
- In cases of tired legs;
- Treatment of varicose veins;
- In cases of hemorrhoids;
- Externally, in cases of muscle pain, neuralgia, and varicose veins.
CENTELLA ASIATICA
Its Latin name is Centella asiatica. Native to India and the Southern USA, but distributed throughout the Indian Ocean, from Madagascar to Indonesia, Australia, and South Africa. It prefers tropical and subtropical swampy regions and riverbanks. It belongs to the Apiaceae (Compositae) family, and its aerial parts are used. It consists of triterpenic saponins (asiaticoside and centellosid), essential oil, tannins, alkaloid, sterols, flavonol glycosides, and polyynes. It has the following properties:
- Re-epithelializing action;
- In chronic venous insufficiency;
- Anti-cellulite and anti-wrinkle (action on collagen synthesis);
- In wound healing;
- Treatment of varicose veins;
- In cases of anxiety, it has psychotropic effects;
- Anal fissures;
- Diuretic.
RED VINE
Its Latin name is Vitis vinifera L. A perennial plant, native to Southern Europe and Western Asia, it is cultivated in all temperate and warm regions. It belongs to the Vitaceae family. The leaves, seeds, and oil extracted from the seeds are used. The leaves contain tannins (oligomeric procyanidins), flavonoids (glucosylated derivatives of kaempferol and quercetin), anthocyanidins, and stilbenes (resveratrol and viniferins). The seeds are rich in oil, hemicelluloses, and procyanidins. The seed oil contains unsaturated and saturated fatty acids, phytosterols, and tocopherols.
Due to their composition, the leaves and seeds of the vine have the following properties:
- Useful in chronic venous insufficiency;
- In cases of tired legs;
- Useful in edema;
- Treatment of varicose veins;
- Useful in cases of capillary fragility;
- Useful in cases of hemorrhoids;
- Venous tonic.
The seed oil has the following properties:
- Prevention of arteriosclerosis;
- In cases of hyperlipidemia;
- Antioxidant.
Composition:
Horse Chestnut (fruit extract containing a minimum of 18% aescin) - 100mg
Red Vine (seed extract containing a minimum of 95% proanthocyanidins) - 100mg
Gotu Kola (leaf extract containing a minimum of 40% asiaticosides) - 100mg
Butcher's Broom (root extract containing a minimum of 10% ruscogenin) - 100mg
Dosage and Administration:
Take 1 capsule twice a day, before meals.

Warnings:
Not recommended for children under 10 years of age.
In some individuals, it may cause temporary nausea and stomach discomfort.
It should not be used by individuals with liver problems or kidney failure.
Do not use during pregnancy and lactation due to the presence of Horse Chestnut.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light.
