RETOLISE tablets are a 100% natural formula that is beneficial for improving venous circulation, particularly in the anal region, being useful in the symptomatic relief of hemorrhoids.
Hemorrhoids are dilated veins in the mucous tissue that line the inside of the rectum and anus. When pressure is applied to these tissues, the veins dilate and swell. There are two types of hemorrhoids: internal and external. Internal hemorrhoids form inside the rectum. When they grow large, they protrude from the anus, becoming external.
RETOLISE tablets have Horse Chestnut and Witch Hazel as their main constituents, which have the following properties:
Horse Chestnut
Its Latin name is Aesculus hippocastanum L. This tree, native to Southwest Europe (Caucasus), prefers dry soils and is widespread in temperate regions. It is widely used as an ornamental tree. It belongs to the Hippocastanaceae family, and its leaves, bark, and seeds (horse chestnut) are used. It has the following properties:
• Increases capillary resistance, having venotonic properties;
• Anti-inflammatory action, reducing capillary permeability and fragility;
• Useful in chronic venous insufficiency;
• In cases of tired legs;
• Treatment of varicose veins;
• In cases of hemorrhoids;
• Externally, in cases of muscle pain, neuralgia, and varicose veins.
Witch Hazel
Its Latin name is Hamamelis virginiana. A small tree or shrub, common in humid forests in the Northern and Eastern United States and Canada. It belongs to the Hamamelidaceae family, with its leaves and, less frequently, its bark being used. It has the following properties:
• Beneficial action in varicose veins, phlebitis, and hemorrhoids;
• Astringent and healing action;
• Reduces vascular permeability, exerting a vasoprotective action (increases vein elasticity and capillary resistance)
• Useful in traumas;
• In skin and mucous membrane inflammations or hemorrhages;
• Externally, it is used in conjunctivitis, blepharitis, oropharyngeal inflammations, skin ulcerations, itching, among others;
• With hemostatic action, it controls small hemorrhages.

Dosage and Administration:
Take 2 tablets 3 times a day, preferably after meals.

Warnings:
Do not use during pregnancy and lactation.
Not recommended for children under 10 years of age.
Not recommended in cases of gastritis and gastroduodenal ulcers, due to the presence of Capsicum, Horsetail, and Witch Hazel.
Due to the presence of Echinacea, it is recommended not to use in cases of tuberculosis, hepatitis, multiple sclerosis, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, and other immunological diseases.
It is recommended not to combine with anticoagulant treatments. Due to the capsicum content, it may interfere with MAO inhibitors (monoamine oxidase) and antihypertensives.
