Diabetes is a pathological condition characterised by a chronic disturbance of sugar metabolism caused by insufficient insulin production.
The four main symptoms of diabetes are:
- polyuria (excessive elimination of urine);
- glycosuria (sugar in the urine);
- polydipsia (excessive thirst);
- polyphagia (imperative need to eat, no matter how much one eats).
There are different forms of Diabetes, however, the most common is Diabetes mellitus type I and II, with type II being more frequent:
- Type I Diabetes (Insulin-dependent) is hereditary, and mainly manifests at the beginning of growth or during adolescence.
- Type II Diabetes (non-insulin-dependent) is linked to a carbohydrate metabolism disorder that manifests as an increase in the amount of glucose normally present in the blood (hyperglycemia). It can be caused by a condition affecting the islets of Langerhans in the pancreas, leading to a decrease in insulin secretion. It has a gradual onset and responds well to dietary regulation and/or oral hypoglycemic agents. A healthy diet and physical exercise, together with nutritional supplements that balance blood glucose levels and support the pancreas, solve the problem.

Dosage and Administration:
Take 1 capsule 30 minutes before breakfast and one capsule 1 hour before dinner, swallowed with water or natural juice.
